Cell Migration/Invasion

The movement of cells from one region to another along a concentration gradient driven by chemical signals such as chemokines is called cell migration. Cell invasion is similar to cell migration, but “invasion” requires the cell to cross the extracellular matrix layer (ECM) or basement membrane matrix layer (BME), in which the cell first enzymolysis to remove the ECM/BME obstruction, so that the chemokine concentration gradient to complete the movement from one place to another. Abbkine’s cell invasion and migration analysis kit enables visualization and quantitative detection of cell invasion and migration ability.
