Product name | TraKine™ Cell Plasma Membrane Staining Kit (Orange Fluorescence) |
Applications notes | Abbkine Cell Plasma Membrane Staining Kits are a set of fluorescence imaging tools for rapid staining of plasma membranes in living and fixed suspended or attached cells depending on the cell type and experimental conditions. This kit uses a proprietary lipophilic carbocyanine dye (Ex/Em = 549/569 nm) that weakly fluorescent in water but highly fluorescent and quite photostable when incorporated into membranes. |
Kit components | • CPM™ Orange (1000×) • Assay Buffer (10×) |
Features & Benefits | • Enables the uniform staining of cell membrane across a wide variety of mammalian cell types, and can be used for both living and fixed suspended or attached cells. • Optimized for various fluorescence platforms such as microplate assays, flow cytometry and fluorescence microscope. • Proprietary CPM Orange™ (Ex/Em = 549/569 nm)-resulting in accelerated diffusion within membranes, staining is also maintained after fixation with formaldehyde, enabling further multi-color staining. |
Storage instructions | Refer to list of materials supplied for storage conditions of individual components. Stable for at least 6 months at recommended temperature from date of shipment. |
Shipping | Gel pack with blue ice. |

Background | The cell membrane (plasma membrane) is a thin semi-permeable membrane, consisting of a lipid bilayer with embedded proteins that separates the interior of all cells from the environment. The basic function of the cell membrane is to protect the cell from its surroundings. The cell membrane controls the movement of substances in and out of cells and organelles. In this way, it is selectively permeable to ions and organic molecules. Cell membranes are involved in a variety of cellular processes such as cell adhesion, ion conductivity and cell signaling and serve as the attachment surface for several extracellular structures, including the cell wall, glycocalyx, and intracellular cytoskeleton. |

1.The species of antibody reactivity should be the sample species that can be matched normally after Abbkine R&D experts have passed strict scientific verification. If your sample is not within the range of reactivity, in order to improve the efficiency and results of your experiment, it is not suggested to try other species. Otherwise, it may lead to sample mismatch and affect the effect of your experiment.
2.Please aliquot the antibody received as soon as possible and store it at -20℃, avoid repeated freezing and thawing, and use it within one year.
