Product name CheKine™ Micro 6-Phosphofructokinase(PFK) Activity Assay Kit
Applications notes CheKine™ Micro 6-Phosphofructokinase(PFK) Activity Assay Kit provides a simple, convenient, rapid and colorimetric PFK detection method. PFK catalyzed fructosetose 6-phosphate and ATP to generate fructose-1, 6-diphosphate and ADP, and pyruvate kinase and lactate dehydrogenase further catalyzed NADH oxidation to NAD+ in turn. The NADH decline rate was measured at 340nm, which reflected the PFK activity

Additional Information

Background Phosphofructokinase (PFK) is widely found in animals, plants, microorganisms and cultured cells. It is responsible for the conversion of fructosae 6-phosphate and ATP into fructosae 1,6 diphosphate and ADP. It is one of the key regulatory enzymes in the glycolysis process. Phosphofructokinase (PFK) activity in bacterial cell supernatant and other samples
